“This year we commissioned Rosie and the Boys to produce some new cards and postcards for our shop, based on the theme of Fair Isle knitwear, as we were looking to expand the range of island-centred and hand-produced goods on sale. It was great to be able to have an input into the design process, giving us unique, quality products that sit well within our existing range of sales goods.”

I was trying to find an original birthday present for my sister when I saw a link for Rosie and the Boys on Rosie’s facebook page… Having been out of contact for a few years, I thought she was a florist so was surprised to discover all of the amazing papercuts/art on her site. Wanting something really special I emailed Rosie and enquired about commission work… I had a really vague idea of a theme but no vision in my head of what I wanted… I told Rosie about my themes… Either nasty squirrels or nice bats ( it’s a long story!) and she came back to me with the *perfect* picture. She literally made me the picture I wanted but wasn’t capable of imagining myself.
A few days later the papercut arrived, even more eyecatching than I’d expected, was promptly framed and given to sister who LOVED it… And who spent ages ooh and aahing as she noticed all the details that had been incorporated. The picture”s now in her office so she gets to look at it for most of the day!
I’d just like to say thank you to Rosie for being a mindreader, amazing artist, perfectly punctual and amazingly talented!
I’ll certainly be looking for occassions to use Rosie and the Boys in the future… I can’t wait to see what’s up their sleeves for Christmas!

“My sister commissioned a custom paper-cut artwork from Rosie, who
created my favourite birthday present by some margin!
It’s stylish, beautifully detailed, beautifully crafted, and a
beautiful interpretation of a bunch of in-jokes and personal
references; a unique and meaningful gift. It has pride of place on my
wall, and makes me smile every time I walk past it. Thank you, Rosie!”
Alice Tyrell – the recipient of the custom papercut.
